Call the direction. Leave the wheel in her hands.

Passenger Seat Perspective

Sister driving the cone lot while you sit beside her.
Same waterfront lot, framed as the seat you actually occupy.

Passenger Seat Perspective is the whole control scheme. You are not a ghost driver holding a hidden wheel. You sit beside her, you speak, and the car moves because she moves it. Voice-Driven Gameplay is that arrangement, not a menu of preset lines.

A useful direction is short, early, and about one action. Tell her to stop before the cone line, not after the bumper has already kissed it. The demo still lets her misunderstand you. In v1.2.9 a command can still come out backwards, including a right turn when you asked for a left.

Tick these before you blame the microphone. The ticks stay in this browser.

The wheel stays with her

You give driving instructions with your voice and watch her react while the lesson is still moving. The seat you occupy is the only control you have. There is no second mode where you grab the column and park it yourself. If a cone falls, the next useful act is another sentence, not a search for a hidden steer axis.

Learner mistakes are part of the lesson, and v1.2.9 keeps them. The studio wants fewer repeats that only frustrate you, not a sister who never misses a cone. When she drifts, say the correction once, clearly, and give her the beat the trailer uses: a short gap, then the next instruction. Stacking three corrections in one breath is how replies get long and the car gets late.

Family Sharing and a required age of 0 do not change the seat. A shared library copy is still the same Windows demo. The person in the chair still has to talk. A silent passenger produces a silent lesson, which is why the microphone is a requirement and not a nice-to-have on the PC tier.

Clear directions she can follow

Real-time voice means you talk directly to her and teach her how to drive. That means verbs she can perform now: start, belt, slower, stop, left, right, park. A mood, a joke, or a recap of the last three turns is conversation, and conversation is allowed, but it is not a steering command.

v1.2.8 fixed two tutorial refusals that looked like attitude and were not. She could refuse the seatbelt, and she could refuse to start the engine. If an older memory of the demo is “she will not even begin,” update past 1.2.8 before you redesign your script. That same update also fixed a failure where the reply text was the word none instead of a line of dialogue.

Length is the other failure still open in v1.2.9. Replies that run too long, and dialogue that feels too artificial, sit beside the backwards-turn bug. If she is still talking when the cone is already beside the door, shorten the next instruction rather than repeating the essay. Discord is where Easy Fox asks players to drop lines that came out wrong.

Wrong-way commands after v1.2.9

On 7 October 2026 the known example is a turn to the right when you asked for a left. Treat that as a known miss, not as proof that left and right are swapped in the key bindings. Say the side again, once, using the same word. If you correct by inventing a new synonym mid-turn, you have given her a second command while the first one is still wrong.

Her learning errors are supposed to remain. A mistake that teaches is different from a repetition that only wastes the lap. You will still see bad lines. You should see fewer of the ones that ignore a simple side. If every turn is reversed after you are on v1.2.9, that is worth a message to the studio with the version, not another lap of the same sentence shouted louder.

Patch 1.2.4, on 26 September 2026, had already shortened speech that ran on too long and added an extra S-curve tutorial. The October updates did not remove that lesson. If the S is the place she picks the wrong side, practise the curve with the courses and keep the wording short. The geometry and the sentence are different problems.

Launching the free demo

Install the free demo, not the paid game that is still dated January 2027. The demo is the free app, dated 7 February 2026, and it went public on 8 February 2026 under the title “Demo released!” You can wishlist the paid game. It is not the build that currently speaks.

First launch after some updates is slow on purpose. Patch 1.1.1 warned that the first start after that update could take up to a minute while assets cached. If the window sits on a load bar, give it that minute before you decide the microphone failed. A crash with both an AMD processor and an AMD graphics card was a separate bug, fixed in v1.2.7 on 1 October 2026.

When the lesson actually starts, use the checklist above and one short direction. Then follow the courses if you want the order of the lots, or the voice routes if she answers in the wrong language or not at all. The seat itself does not change: you talk, she drives.
